A secret process is used in hardening the tsukamaki wrapping so that it will never come undone. But, it will still be comfortable in your hand after hours of vigourous training.
Many hours of research have been done to guarantee no burrs or microscopic rough edges. This has been found on other swords on the market resulting in accidental cuts. We have gone to great lengths to make sure that accidental cuts will NEVER come from our blades.
